Ocean Beach Shores is one of the Toms River, New Jersey Barrier Island communities nestled between Sunset Manor and Monterey Beach, just 1/4 mile north of Lavallette proper and 4 miles north of Seaside Heights.

Spanning from Bay to Beach, the OBSC community, on Ocean Bay Boulevard, is only one block wide, allowing for one of the least crowded private beaches in the area. With only 97 homes in total and, of those, approximately 70% owner occupied for the summer season, Ocean Beach Shores truly is a quiet, private, family oriented shore community.

Ocean Beach Shores beach season will begin Saturday, June 20, this year. The beach will be guarded from 9:30 am until 5:30 pm from June 20 through Labor Day, weather permitting. We look forward to a successful season.

Once again, there will be a badge checker at the entrance of the beach on select days as well as a sporadic badge check by our guards. Please have your badges ready and on display. OBSC welcomes both visitors and residents alike.
